Briget Boyle is a folk-rock songwriter, vocalist, and guitar player based in Oakland, California.
Growing up in Los Angeles, she sang backup for her mother, recording artist Karen Tobin, and worked with her father in Hollywood's film scoring studios. She began writing songs as a teenager. Currently, as part of a full schedule of performing, teaching, and touring, Briget released her second album. “The Next Line” has been hailed as “a thoroughly fascinating and gripping listen from Boyle" by Gabriel Aikins, Substream Magazine.
Briget has toured nationally and internationally with the renowned women's vocal ensemble Kitka and the Bay Area's premier Balkan brass band Brass Menažeri. In addition to being a featured soloist on a variety of Kitka recordings, she is also the featured vocalist on the song "Crush," by Beats Antique.
"When I ponder my favorite singer-songwriters, I think about musicians that are authentic, honest, and speak from the inside out. Catchy hooks don’t hurt, either...Briget Boyle exemplifies these characteristics...emotionally resonant and beautifully harmonious."
